Your step-by-step guide to completing the BAS
MYOB BASlink has been significantly enhanced to streamline the completion and lodgement process of your Business Activity Statement or Instalment Activity Statement.
MYOB BASlink is now an integral part of your MYOB software (Microsoft Excel is no longer required) and provides enormous flexibility to help you deal with the myriad of options that need to be considered when preparing the BAS. The new MYOB BASlink makes it easy for you to select your GST reporting method, frequency and accounting basis, PAYG Instalment accounting basis and PAYG Withholding frequency.

Lodge your BAS electronically
MYOB Accounting and Accounting Plus version 10.5 will save your BAS figures in a file which can then be imported into the ATO's Electronic Commerce Interface (ECI) software for lodgement.* Or you can use the printed report to complete the ATO paper form to lodge your BAS by post.
Inclusive/Exclusive check box keeps your last selection
The check box currently available to easily indicate tax inclusive or tax exclusive pricing on invoices, purchase orders, cheques and deposits will now default to your last choice - even if you exit the session!
Print tax amounts on Customer Statements and tax subtotals on invoices
Customised Forms can now have additional fields displayed. Tax amounts and Customer PO# can now be included on statements. Tax subtotal and tax code descriptions can now be included on invoices.
