MYOB FirstAccounts version 3.5 includes tools for streamlining the completion and lodgement process of your Businesss Activity Statement (BAS) as well as features to help you manage your customer and supplier relationships.
Easier BAS reporting
FirstAccounts version 3.5 makes preparing your BAS even easier. When it comes time to submit your BAS, the new MYOB BASlink* feature will help automate the reporting for you. You'll be guided through the reporting process to ensure that all the information you need is at hand. As with any tax return, it is important that you review the figures produced by your accounting software, and confirm (with your accountant if necessary) that the correct information is being lodged with the ATO.
Lodge your BAS electronically
The next step after completing your BAS is submitting it. FirstAccounts BASlink saves your tax details in a file that can then be imported to the ATO's ECI lodgement software. The process only takes seconds.
Produce professional letters in seconds
One of the most critical issues facing businesses is that of being able to effectively manage their customer and supplier relationships. A dynamic link to Microsoft Word, MYOB WordLink + takes all the hard work out of wrestling with customer lists and mail-merge commands. You simply select your customers, choose the preset letter format, and you can have professional letters in seconds.

You now have a new checkbox that allows you to easily indicate tax inclusive or tax exclusive pricing on invoices, purchase orders, cheques and deposits. In addition, selling prices for items in your Invoice Items list can also be tagged as either tax inclusive or tax exclusive. These new features are sure to save you time.
