What's New in MYOB PowerPay version 6
The comprehensive release of MYOB PowerPay version 6 includes expanded importing and exporting capabilities, enhanced employee history register and an overhauled leave and entitlements window.
Leave and entitlements overhaul
The Leave Items function in the Card command centre now allows you to include details such as:
- leave item code and description
- type of leave
- pay items exempt from the leave accruals calculation
- the basis of calculating leave accruals
- the pay items to which the leave item is linked.
Utilising this function will provide your company with the flexibility in both types of leave and leave calculation and allow you to easily include or exclude pay items from leave calculations. Running your payroll will now be even easier.
New leave tab in Employees window
The Leave tab displays all the relevant information for the leave items that an employee accrues. You'll be able to enter a unique entitlement date for individual leave items for each employee.
You can now identify your employer obligations at an individual employee level, in just seconds.
New History log tab in Employees window
This new window will allow you to enter History log entries for individual employees. You'll be able to enter a date, a time, and text. A report will be included to allow you to print a complete list or selection of History log entries.
You can keep complete records of your employees performance as well as their pay details, in the one place. Gone are the days of searching for archived or misplaced files.
Enhanced Company information window
The Company Information and Departments windows now include five new account fields to enable you to easily allocate your liabilities and expenses to the appropriate accounts.
In the Company Information window you need to enter your RDO leave provision account as well as the provision accounts for each of the four custom leave types.
